Topol (1935 – 2023)

The actor Chaim Topol, known for his role as Milos Columbo in For Your Eyes Only, has sadly passed away.

In the film, Topol’s character, Milos Columbo, helps Bond and Melina infiltrate the mountaintop monastery of St. Cyril’s at the climax of the 12th James Bond film.

Topol was best known for his portrayal of milkman Tevye in Fiddler On The Roof for which he received an Academy Award nomination. His other work included Flash Gordon and Follow Me.
